Mr. Taylor comes to us as an experienced leader and administrator with a passion for classical Christian education. For the past five years, he’s been the Principal of the Schools of Logic & Rhetoric at Annapolis Christian Academy (ACA), an ACCS accredited PK-12 school. In his ten years as an educator, he’s taught a combination of english, history, and computer classes to grades 6 – 12. He has also organized numerous clubs, retreats, and class trips.
During Mr. Taylor’s tenure at ACA, he oversaw programmatic growth and improvement in a number of areas. Key accomplishments included revising the curriculum, introducing band and theater, leading the steering committee for ACCS re-accreditation and helping design the master campus expansion plan. He also worked closely with teachers to re-focus the School of Logic towards age-appropriate curriculum, resulting in increased student satisfaction and retention.
He earned his B.A. at Gordon College, majoring in English Language & Literature and Secondary Education. He graduated Summa Cum Laude, and was also recognized as an A.J. Gordon Scholar. The highlight of his undergrad years was studying art history in Orvieto, Italy for a semester. Mr. Taylor also holds an M.Ed. in Technology in Education from Lesley University and teacher certification from the Association of Classical & Christian Schools.
