- The certified athletic trainer or administrator will act as the lead in all emergency situations.
- They are the ones who will decide if 911 needs to be called and instruct others how to help.
- In the event that the administrator is not available, the head coach will be the one in charge (303) 358-3416

- The Automated External Defibrillator(AED) is located on the east wall outside the gymnasium.
- Immediate care of injured or ill student-
athlete by most qualified personnel - Retrieve Emergency equipment – AED if cardiac emergency (head coach | admin)
- Activate Emergency Medical System
- Call 9-1-1: “My name is___, I have a medical

of injury, first aid completed, etc.
- Admin or coaches open appropriate doors (West Door)
Direct someone to be in the parking lot to wave down EMS
- Scene control: (administrator, game officials or assistant coaches) limit scene to first aid providers and move bystanders away from area.
