ARMA DEI ACADEMY PRESCHOOL

At Arma Dei Academy, preschool is where a love of learning first takes hold, guided by teachers who nurture and set clear expectations that every child needs to flourish. Rather than rushing toward formal academics, our preschool years cultivate a love for what is good, true, and beautiful through Scripture, classical nursery rhymes, memorization set to song, rich read-alouds, and purposeful play. Alongside this sense of wonder, we cultivate the readiness every child needs to thrive in Kindergarten and beyond.

Applications for the 2027/2028 school year will open in October 12, 2026.

Admissions Procedures

Arma Dei Academy offers three academic programs:

  • Preschool
    • Preschool classrooms: 3 and 4 year-olds
    • Junior Kindergarten Classrooms: 4 and 5 year olds who intend on applying to Kindergarten the following year
  • Kindergarten
    • Kindergarten – 12th Grade Academy (full-time)
  • Collaborative Learning Program
    • K-8 (two-day program)

Arma Dei Academy is one school offering distinct academic programs, each with its own admissions process and requirements. Because each program is evaluated independently for admissions, enrollment in one program (such as Preschool) does not guarantee or provide priority placement into another (such as Kindergarten). Families must complete a separate application and admissions process for each program they wish their child to enter.

Wait Pool

  • When a preschool class has reached capacity, applicants may request in writing to admissions@armadeiacademy.com to be added to the wait pool for the respective class, so long as the online application has been completed.
  • A wait pool is for the current academic school year only.

Preschool Program Information

Learning the Joys of Exploration

Circle time, creative play, song, movement, outdoor activities, and art are all parts of our program, during which students learn and experience joy and wonder. Our teachers set clear expectations, demonstrate abundant grace, and understand the significant transition that takes place as our youngest students begin their journey of learning.

Age Groups

Children are grouped by age in each classroom; all students stay in the same classroom with the same teachers throughout the school year.

Preschool Programs

Three and Four Year-Old Program: Students must be three years old by September 1 of the enrolled school year and fully potty trained by the first day of school. Program options include two days a week (T/TH), three days a week (M/W/F), or five days a week (M-F).

Junior Kindergarten Program: Students must be four years old by August 1 of the enrolled school year and fully potty trained by the first day of school. Program options include four days a week (M-TH) or five days a week (M-F). Children may repeat Junior Kindergarten.

Curriculum Overview
  • Our preschool program follows the classical Christian education provided by Memoria Press curriculum in our 3’s, 4’s and our Junior Kindergarten classrooms. Each age focuses on what is true, good and beautiful all while engaging children in developmentally appropriate activities.
  • Over the course of the school year, our preschool children will learn Bible stories, nursery rhymes, letters (both upper and lower case), numbers, shapes, colors, Fruit of the Spirit character traits and much more.
  • Our main focus is to show the children just how loved they truly are from a biblical perspective.
  • Our early childhood education program is laying the foundation for a continued education path for biblical, academic, social and emotional growth.
