Dear Arma Dei Families and Friends,
Sitting around a dining room table in the Spring of 2012, the founding families of Arma Dei Academy took a leap of faith and penned the following words. Our mission is to glorify God by providing an excellent classical Christian education founded upon a biblical worldview which equips students to live purposefully and intelligently in service to God and others. At the time, they had no idea what putting their hands to the plough (Luke 9:62) would entail or the impact that decision would have on hundreds of students and families in the ensuing decade. We, the beneficiaries of their vision, prayers, and faithfulness, have much to celebrate!
Over the last decade, Arma Dei grew from a fledgling start-up to a thriving school with an unwavering commitment to delivering an excellent classical Christian education that pursues what is good, True, and beautiful, recognizing that these are rooted in Christ. Celebrate what the LORD has accomplished over the last ten years.
- Invested Families: Today, over 240 like-minded families sacrificially invest their time, talent, and treasure in pursuit of bringing up their children in the discipline and instruction of the LORD (Ephesians 6:4).
- Deeply Devoted Faculty: Starting with three full-time and two part-time faculty members in 2012, Arma Dei now employs 55 staff members passionate about the Lord, their students, and classical Christian education.
- Committed Volunteers: Last year alone, some 140 volunteers served in capacities ranging from cleaning to teaching. Over our ten year history, we have been able to keep our tuition as low as possible because so many parents, friends, and former students have served.
- Unwavering Board of Directors: Arma Dei Academy is blessed with a visionary board that looks to the future while fiercely protecting the school from mission drift.
- Robust Programming: Arma Dei Academy offers a distinctly classical and Christian education to 415 students across all programs (Preschool, Homeschool Collaborative, Grammar, Logic, and Rhetoric) ultimately, preparing Rhetoric students with the ability to graduate from Arma Dei with an Associate of Arts degree from a regionally accredited university.
- Growing Partnerships: Since 2012, Arma Dei has collectively partnered with 419 families and 556 students.
- Expanded Facilities: From humble beginnings in the basement of Living Way Fellowship, Arma Dei Academy now occupies 57,500 sq. ft. of space, better aligning facilities with programming and, by God’s grace, carries no debt.
- Arma Dei Graduates: Arma Dei graduates leave with a firm foundation, knowing who they are in Christ and with the ability to think critically, reason logically, and argue persuasively through a biblical worldview.
Celebrate with us! The LORD continues to bring families excited and dedicated to the mission and vision of Arma Dei, not only for their children and grandchildren but for the generations to come. Now more than ever, believers need to link arms and take care, and keep your soul diligently, lest you forget the things that your eyes have seen, and lest they depart from your heart all the days of your life. Make them known to your children and your children’s children (Deuteronomy 4:9).
