As we approach Easter this year, how will we appreciate it in a new way?
In John 17, Jesus said that he had brought glory to the Father by accomplishing the work that the Father had given him to do. Strangely, Jesus was referring not only to his work of healing, saving, serving and giving, but the work he was about to complete on the cross. In his crucifixion and resurrection Jesus covered our sins, removed our guilt, and won the victory over death we could never win on our own. What amazing work! Now we are left with the question: What work does God have for us to accomplish that will ultimately bring glory to Him?
