A Night to Remember…
On Thursday, January 23rd, the Arma Dei community gathered together for our first school-wide Recitation and Art Showcase. It was a night to celebrate all the mighty work the Lord has done in the hearts and minds of the students of Arma Dei Academy.
Upon entering the Living Way Fellowship Sanctuary, parents were blessed with an amazing art display showcasing a piece of artwork from each student of the Academy. Students and family members then gathered in the sanctuary of Living Way Fellowship, where there was standing room only. In commemoration of the first year of Arma Dei, when all nine students sat on a quilt to eat lunch, the Kindergarten through fourth grade students encircled the room seated on quilts loaned by Arma Dei families. Each class performed a selection from their course of study in class. These ranged from poetry and songs to the Preamble of the Constitution and the Periodic Table.
The evening ended with a Grand Finale. The Arma Dei Board Members announced that Phase 2 of our building project has been fully funded by an anonymous donor and construction will begin in the spring. Lord willing, the doors will open in the Fall of 2021! God is Great!
