Biblical Worldview

Everyone has a worldview. Whether or not we realize it, we all have certain ideas and biases that affect the way we view all of life and reality. A worldview is like a set of lenses which alter the way we perceive the world around us. Our worldview is formed by our education, our upbringing, the culture we live in, the books we read, the media and movies we absorb, etc. For many people their worldview is simply something they have absorbed from their surrounding cultural influences. They have never thought strategically about what they believe and wouldn’t be able to give a rational defense of their beliefs to others.
We challenge our students to look at everything through a Biblical lens. Each subject is taught from a Biblical perspective and each day opens with prayer. There are formal Bible classes, but Scripture is not limited to a particular class period. We equip our students with the full armor of God (Arma Dei).
Ephesians 6:10-20
School Scripture
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

Statement of Faith

We believe the Bible alone to be the word of God, the ultimate and infallible authority for faith and practice. We believe the Bible to be the authoritative and final standard for belief and conduct. We agree that the board of directors is the sole authoritative interpreter of scripture for the school. (2 Timothy 3:16)
We believe that there is one God, Creator of all things, eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent. We believe that God immutably creates each person to reflect His image as male and female and that God looked at everything he had made, and it he found it very good. (Genesis 1:1, Genesis 1:31, Deuteronomy 6:4, John 10:30). We believe that marriage as given by God is the life-long covenant between one man and one woman, and that all forms of sexual activity outside of marriage are sin. Mark 10:6-8
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory. (Matthew 1:18, John 1:29, Acts 2:22, Romans 3:24-25, Romans 8:34, 2 Corinthians 5:21, Ephesians 1:20, 1 Peter 1:3, 1 Peter 1:19-20, Revelation 1:5-7)
We believe that, for the salvation of lost and sinful men, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely necessary. (John 3:3-8)
We believe that salvation is by grace through faith alone. (Ephesians 2:8)
We believe that faith without works is dead. (James 2:17)
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, and the gifts of theHoly Spirit (1 Corinthians 12), by Whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life. (Galatians 5:16)
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved to the resurrection of life, and they that are lost to eternal destruction and separation from God. (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, 2 Thessalonians 1:9)
We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ. (John 17:20-23)
