From the 16th century until the early 20th century, catechesis (the art of reciting simple questions and answers to reinforce basic truths) played an important part in the efforts of Christian educators to communicate fundamental articles of the Christian faith to their students. Catechesis has largely become obsolete in our day, but Arma Dei's Logic School Teachers are reviving the art with a twist: they are having students sing rather than recite the catechism! Water-Powered Rockets

Seventh-grade students created water-powered rockets launching raw eggs high into the sky. Two out of four teams were successful in keeping their egg-cellent cargo intact upon landing.

Fifth grade classes study Colonial life in America

The fifth-grade classes had the opportunity to travel back in time to Harlem Heights, New York, September 1776. Here is the scene into which the ventured: “New York City is now occupied by the British. Patriot hearts were encouraged with the Declaration of Independence in July of this year. This freedom, however, must now be defended at great cost. At this dark time, boldness on the part of every true patriot is required more than ever. Third Grade Science

Have you ever wondered what would happen if you started digging a hole in the ground and kept digging until you reached the center of the Earth? The third grade demonstrated their knowledge of the layers of the earth by constructing clay models. Red is the inner core believed to be solid nickel and iron. Orange is the outer core, which is liquid metal and makes the earth magnetic.
