8th Grade Trip To Washington D.C.

The eighth grade class is visiting Washington D.C. for the next few days to learn about our country and see some of the greatest monuments, museums, and historical sites in the world. This trip also provides students with a unique, interactive learning experience, as well as opportunities for personal growth, maturity, and independence. Sites they will visit: Vietnam Memorial Korean War Memorial Lincoln Memorial Holocaust Memorial Museum WWII Memorial Smithsonian Museums Capitol Hill Tour Arlington National Cemetery JFK tomb Museum of the Bible National Cathedral Jefferson Monument MLK Monument

Local Pastors Visit Arma Dei

On February 28th, Arma Dei Academy was privileged to host a special event for 20 local pastors. Our "Pastor Appreciation" event included a continental breakfast and fellowship time, performances by the Grace Notes and the Kindergarteners, and short presentations from Mr. Taylor and Mr. Vigil. After breakfast, the pastors were led on a tour of our school, visiting the 8th, 5th, 3rd, 2nd, and 1st grade classrooms. Each class was able to showcase what they are learning by displaying a wide array of talents from classifying sentences, to reciting theological principles, and memorizing and interpreting Scripture. Join us for chapel tomorrow morning, February 2, at 8:15 A.M. We will hear a message from Pastor Josh Weidmann, Grace Chapel, and our kindergartners we'll remind us about the importance of orderliness. The kindergartners' performance should serve to remind us all that Arma Dei Academy exists not only to train the minds of students, but also their hearts and wills.
