Congrats to the Arma Dei Lego® WeDo Robotics teams for their amazing effort, great attitude, and joy at the 2019 Lego® Design Challenge in Colorado Springs. Twenty-seven teams competed and two of our teams placed in the top six.

The eighth-grade students visited Washington D.C. to learn about our country and to see some of the greatest monuments, museums, and historical sites in the world. This trip also provided students with a unique, interactive learning experience, as well as opportunities for personal growth, maturity, and independence.
The second-grade students toured the rainforest exhibit at the Denver Botanical Gardens. There they saw poison dart frogs, a host of different trees, and found a home for their own tropical plants.

This quarter, kindergarten students dissected owl pellets to enhance their reading of Owl Moon and first-grade students developed invisible ink similar to those used during the American Revolution. While studying siege warfare in Ancient Egypt, second-grade students built a siege tower to protect assailants. Third-grade students constructed aqueducts as they learned about Roman architecture. A team of fourth and fifth-grade students will compete in a Lego robotic challenge against other Colorado…
