Are we there yet? Undoubtedly as parents, we have heard this question from our children at some point in our lives. Our responses have ranged from, “not yet” to “please don’t ask again I will let you know when we are”. Distance Learning at Arma Dei Academy

Arma Dei Academy’s Distance Learning Program (“DLP”) exists to further our mission and deliver the most effective classical Christian education possible in light of the unprecedented public health challenges of COVID-19. Our program was developed to comply with Governor Polis’s Executive Stay-At-Home Order D 2020 017 and other government mandates and regulations. Arma Dei Academy teachers continue to work full-time to deliver school at home through a variety of learning opportunities including daily teacher-created video instruction, live classroom times, independent work, and hands-on experiences. Recess in Colorado!

Recess in Colorado! Despite the frigid temperatures this week, students had a blast during recess as they raced down our snow-covered hill on sleds! With the Rocky Mountains serving as a majestic backdrop, outdoor fun inspired wonder and awe of the great Artist. Following Friday’s in-service, faculty members took their turn strapping on snow boots and sliding down the hill in awe-struck wonder of our Heavenly Father.

Dads Valentine Breakfast Was LOVELY!

John 4:19 affirms, “We love because He first loved us.” A heartfelt thanks to all dads, grandfathers, and honorary dads who were able to attend the 5th annual Dads Valentine Breakfast. Our preschoolers also had a fun day celebrating Valentines day!

Making Christmas Gifts Together

Christmas is around the corner and our students have been busy making a special gift for the elderly in our community! Students will have the opportunity next week to bless the men and women at retirement homes with Christmas carols and a homemade tree ornament. Logic and grammar students had fun making this thoughtful Christmas craft together!
