Master Penman (a title earned by only 12 individuals in the world) and Artist Jake Weidmann shared his story and his works of art with our community during Chapel. Robotics Club

Congratulations Robotics Club!! Competition in eight robotic challenges took place on Saturday, April 1, at Rocky Heights Middle School. Arma Dei placed 1st in Minesweeper (Shane Pranno), 1st in Black Line (Shane Pranno), and 3rd in RoboDance (Ethan Rainey). Robotic Challenges: Black Line: Robot must navigate a black line course. Minesweeper: Robot must clear a 36 inch square mat of 40-1 inch square blocks. Hill Climb/Speed Conversion: Robot must complete two tasks with only a two-minute conversion time between tasks. 8th Grade Gift

Each year the 8th grade class gives a gift to the school to show their gratitude of an amazing Christ-centered education. This legacy gift reminds current students of the young men and women that have gone on before them and are now changing this world for Christ. This year, the class of 2017, would like to purchase a beautiful piece of art to be hung on the large wall of the stairwell on the far east side of the building. Lent

Yesterday, March 1, was Ash Wednesday. This began a 40-day period when Christians all over the world remember their sinfulness, ask God's forgiveness, repent and recognize that God's forgiveness comes at an infinite price - the death of Jesus Christ on the cross on our behalf. This year let's make it about something bigger, something beyond ourselves. This year we can put our relationship with Christ as our highest priority. Give generously; pray faithfully; and fast from something that has become too important in your life. In your sacrifice, Christ will meet you.

Class Festivals

Author: Mrs. Robi Marshall Last week marked the beginning of three grammar grade level festivals that will be presented this spring in Chapel and gives a glance into the Arma Dei Academy course of study. Over the course of a student’s education here at Arma Dei Academy, boys and girls grow familiar with God’s unfolding plan from creation to today. Starting in second grade, students study ancient Israel and Egypt.  Each successive year, students learn about the next civilization God established and sustained. Third graders at the academy, study Ancient Greece and Rome.  At their festivals last week, visitors gained perspective on one important aspect of their historical era; ancient roman architecture—a true gift still in use today. At Chapel on Friday

Go Broncos!

Recently, three of our students shared with their classmates, their dad’s journey in the NFL and his Super Bowl and AFC Championship Rings. Coach Rick Dennison, Broncos’ Offensive Coordinator and Arma Dei dad also received letters and prayers from sixth grade students for the upcoming Super Bowl.   Prior to leaving for the Super Bowl, Coach Dennison sent a special letter back to our students.
